The International Network of Indigenous Health Knowledge and Development (INIHKD) was established in 2002 as a shared waters alliance connecting Indigenous health leaders across Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Hawai‘i, and the United States, and now expanding further into the Pacific. INIHKD brings together esteemed Indigenous scholars, researchers, practitioners, and community leaders to advance the health and well-being of Indigenous communities globally.
One of our key initiatives is convening Indigenous scholars, researchers, practitioners, and community leaders from around the world to engage in strengths-based, partnership-driven approaches to issues impacting Indigenous communities globally.
Our new website is coming soon and will include details about new projects, research impact and upcoming events. In the meantime we’d love to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the 2025 INIHKD RIEL Conference in Tamaya, New Mexico.
